Pain and Inflammation
-
Did you know that pain and inflammation are the number one reasons for doctors visits?
Have you ever been injured, at any time in your life? Painful knees, twisted ankles, tight shoulders and necks, tension headaches – just to name a few – seem to just be ‘par for the course’ in every day life now, for most of the population. Did you know that 90-95% of the population will experience back pain at some point in their life?
Unfortunately too many people simply accept this, live their life with pain and discomfort, take medications, and generally become sick and unwell in the process.
There is a way to solve chronic pain and inflammation, and it involves getting to the root cause of what the problem is. It is my job to assess clients with a thorough evaluation and then to guide them in the right direction to help solve any pain and inflammation that they may have. Obviously each person is different in their biomechanics, biochemistry and psychology but here are the top reasons why people have pain and inflammation:
- Poor posture – This causes muscles and joints to move outside of ranges that are normal and the resulting dysfunctional movement will over time cause pain
- Bad nutrition – Less than optimal nutritional choices can cause pain as certain foods will disrupt the normal workings of your internal organs which lead to inflammation and compensation in other areas of the body.
- Stress – When the body is in a state of stress, the last thing it is thinking about is resting and repairing the systems of the body. It is thinking about survival first, and when that threat is escaped, and then we can recover afterwards.
The first step to reducing your pain and inflammation is to have a free assessment to decipher the cause of the problem itself. I will also give you some individualised advice on how you can correct these problems forever.
