  • New At The Blog: Re-Thinking Weight Loss

What Are You Energising?

  • It’s New Years Eve and I wish you all a happy New Year. In this post I quite rightly am going to discuss New Years Resolutions and goals. If you are anything like me the last week has probably been a time of reflection for you – on how well 2008 has gone, and how you can improve in 2009!

    Goal setting is a very important part of life. Essentially it is simply creating the lifestyle you want. The way to do this is also quite simple too:

    1. Think about what you would like to achieve;
    2. Write it down and plan it as meticulously as possible;
    3. Take the actions you set out in your plan!

    What I usually see is most people are very good at Step 1, some are good at Step 2 and some at Step 3, but rarely do people get to do all 3 together and in order. There are a few reasons for this, but one main one that I am going to discuss in this blog -

    The “energy” you put in, is the “energy” you will get out!

    This fundamental law is one of the biggest reasons why goals and New Years Resolutions fail. I am going to suggest that you follow this advice and make your way through the year achieving all it is that you desire, for not only your health, but your entire lifestyle.

    Modern science and quantum physics has taught us that everything in the material universe is energy – basically nothing is actually material or “real”, it is all just energy vibrating at different rates and speeds creating different outcomes. Much like brain waves, heart beats, and even your vocal cords all vibrate differently to create different responses, metal, wood and Earth also vibrate at different rates that is why they all look different and have unique properties.

    Now, since everything is energy, it is also important to realise that energy can be both positive and negative – much like a simple battery or electric circuit, a magnet, or even the Poles on Planet Earth. Everything in the known world is energy, and can be divided into positive and negative.

    This “everything” can also mean your thoughts and emotions a well – as I said before your brain waves will vibrate differently meaning different things. Of course, your thoughts are the foundations of your goals, and it makes sense to think that we want to infuse these thoughts with positiveity, and not negativity.

    What I have noticed in my clients and in the world as a whole, is that negativity is extremely prevalent. Watch out for how many times a day you hear someone talking about how they can’t do something, as opposed to how they can and you will know what I mean.

    So, my suggestion to you is this: When you are thinking about your New Years Resolutions think positively. Always believe that you can achieve them and never let that faith wander into negative territory.

    Your lifestyle will thank you for it!
